Today, the European Commission adopted the 2025-2030 working plan for the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and Energy Labelling Regulation. It provides a list of products that should be prioritised to introduce ecodesign requirements and energy labelling over the next five years.
The European Commission welcomes the provisional political agreement between the European Parliament and the Council on the new toy safety rules, following the Commission's proposal for a Regulation on Toy Safety from 28 July 2023.
Located in 13 EU countries, they will boost domestic strategic raw material capacities, which will in turn strengthen the European raw materials value chain, and diversify sources of supply.
